11.21 Installing the shock absorber x
S00127-10
Main work
– Carefully position the shock absorber into the vehicle from above.
S00129-10
– Position the frame protector.
Info
Pay attention to the holding lugs.
– Mount and tighten screw 1.
Guideline
Screw, frame protector M5 3 Nm (2.2 lbf ft)
– Attach the frame protector with the cable binder.
Finishing work
–
Install the manifold. x
– Install the main silencer. ( p. 48)
– Remove the motorcycle from the lift stand. ( p. 35)
11.22 Removing the seat

– Remove screw 1.
– Lift up the seat at the rear, pull it back and then remove it from above.
11.23 Mounting the seat
S00148-11
– Hook in the front of the seat at the collar bushing of the fuel tank, lower it at the
rear and simultaneously it push forward.
– Make sure that the seat is correctly locked in.
– Mount and tighten the screw of the seat fixing.
Guideline
Remaining screws, chassis M6 10 Nm (7.4 lbf ft)
