Remove screw for checking gear oil level

Remove screw for checking gear oil level

H01460-10

–

Remove filler plug

with the O-ring.

– Add gear oil until it flows out of the hole of the gear oil level

plug.

Gear oil (ATF Dexron 3) ( p. 126)

–

Mount and tighten screw

in the opening used to check the

gear oil level.

Guideline

Screw, gear oil level

check

M6 6 Nm (4.4 lbf ft)

–

Mount and tighten oil filler plug

with the O-ring.

Danger

Danger of poisoning Exhaust gases are toxic and inhal-

ing them may result in unconsciousness and death.

– Always make sure there is sufficient ventilation

when running the engine.

– Use effective exhaust extraction when starting or

running the engine in an enclosed space.

– Start the engine and check that it is oil-tight.
