11.20 Removing the shock absorber
Preparatory work

– Raise the motorcycle with a lift stand. ( p. 42)

– Remove the rear wheel. ( p. 85)

Remove nut

Remove screw

and lower the rear wheel with the link
fork as far as possible without blocking the rear wheel.
Secure the rear wheel in this position.

Remove screw

, push splash protector

to the side,
and take out the shock absorber.
