WARNING
Whenever any maintenance or inspection is per-
formed
on the fuel system during which there
may be
fuel leakage , there should be no we lding,
smok ing, open flames, etc. , in the area.
REMOVING
1. Remov e the gas tank (see Gas T a nk in this section).
2.
Disconnect the intake air housing boo t from th e
carburetor; then sli d e t h e intake ai r housing to the
rear to clea r the ca rburetor.
