3. SAFETY REGULATIONS
The coee machine is intended exclusively for domesc use. It is prohibited to make technical alteraons or any perform any
illegal use, because of the risks that they involve! The device is not intended to be used by persons (including children) with
reduced physical, mental or auditory capacies or with insucient experience and/or abilies, unless they are supervised by a
person responsible for their safety or they are trained to use the appliance.
• Connecon to the power mains must be carried out in compliance with current safety standards in the country of use.

The electrical socket to which the machine connects must be:
- Compable with the type of plug installed; - Sized to comply with the informaon of the data plate on the unit.
- Connected to an ecient grounding system.
• The power cord must not:
- Touch any kind of liquid: danger of electric shock and/or re;
- Be crushed and/or come in contact with sharp surfaces;
- Be used to move the machine;
- Be used if damaged. If the power supply cable is damaged, it must be changed by the manufacturer or its customer service;
- Be handled with damp or wet hands;
- Be wound in a coil when the machine is in operaon.
- Be tampered with.
• It is prohibited:
- To install the machine in a manner dierent from that described.
- To insert ngers and/or other objects inside the capsule compartment. Danger of burns!
- To install the machine in areas where a jet of water can be used.
