The protecon class indicates the suitability of a product for specic ambient condions with
regard to humidity as well as the protecon against contact and the ingress of foreign
parcles. The protecon classes are classied in the EN 60034-5/ EN IEC 60529.
The rst code number aer the code leers IP indicates the protecon against the ingress of
foreign parcles and dust. The second code number refers to the protecon against the
ingress of humidity.
