The protecon class indicates the suitability of a product for specic ambient condions with
regard to humidity as well as the protecon against contact and the ingress of foreign
parcles. The protecon classes are classied in the EN 60034-5/ EN IEC 60529.
The rst code number aer the code leers IP indicates the protecon against the ingress of
foreign parcles and dust. The second code number refers to the protecon against the
ingress of humidity.
