@@@
CENTER DEPTH (0 to 18)
Adjusts the amount of processing applied to the center channel,
changing the perceived distance of the center speaker. Higher
settings increase and lower settings decrease the perceived distance
of the center speaker.
@@@
CENTER MIX LVL (-3.0dB, -4.5dB, -6.0dB)
Indicates the relative level of the center channel that was used
during the mixing process.
@@@
DIALOG OFFSET (-31 to 0dB)
Indicates the dialog normalization value applied to the input signal.
Dolby Digital input sources reproduce dialog at 31 decibels below
full-scale (-31dBFS). When the dialog normalization value of the
incoming signal is higher or lower, the DIALOG OFFSET parameter
indicates the amount of adjustment the MC-12 makes to normalize
dialog to -31dBFS.
@@@
EFFECT LVL (-12dB to +6dB)
Adjusts the amount of ambience or reverb mixed into all MAIN
AUDIO OUTPUTS
@@@
ES DECODING (AUTO, ON, OFF)
Controls the dts-ES decoding feature. When set to AUTO, the
MC-12 engages dts-ES decoding for flagged dts-ES-encoded input
sources. The MC-12 does not engage dts-ES decoding for other dts
input sources, including non-flagged dts-ES-encoded input
sources. When set to ON, the MC-12 engages dts-ES decoding for
all dts(-ES) input sources. When set to OFF, the MC-12 disengages
dts-ES decoding for all dts(-ES) input sources.
LISTENING MODE & STATUS MENU PARAMETER
DESCRIPTIONS
This section contains additions and modifications to the listening
mode and STATUS menu parameter descriptions that begin on
page 5-20 of the MC-12 User Guide (Rev 1).
@@@
2.0 ENCODING (MATRIX, NONE)
Indicates whether or not matrix encoding is present in the input
signal. When the parameter value is MATRIX, matrix encoding is
present in the input signal. When the parameter value is NONE,
matrix encoding is not present in the input signal.
@@@
BASS RT (0.2 x MID RT) to (2.0 x MID RT)
Full Name: Low-frequency Reverberation Time
Depends on the MID RT parameter setting, which depends on the
SIZE parameter setting. The BASS RT parameter is expressed as a
multiplier of the MID RT parameter. The BASS RT parameter should
be set to 1.0 x the MID RT parameter setting for more natural
effects in smaller spaces.
Setting the BASS RT or MID RT parameters to a high value
might produce undesirable or damaging audio.
CAUTION
@@@BIT RATE (32 to 3072kbps)
Indicates the rate at which the input signal is encoded. A higher bit
rate indicates that less compression was used during the encoding
process.
