- Servo type HST (S-HST)
 Check if the HST tractor stops when taking off your foot from the HST pedal while driving the tractor
in “Low speed” of the range gear shift lever. If the tractor does not stop and moves slowly, stop the
tractor with using the brake pedals. To adjust the neutral position of the HST models, contract your
authorized local dealer and comply with the following instructions.
 Adjustment of NEUTRAL set of
the HST control.
1. Stop tractor on a flat ground and stop the engine.
2. Lift the rear wheels of the tractor off the ground
sufficiently by using a hoist. If there is no hoist,
use the suitable device can lift the tractor safely.
For tractor weight, refer to the section 7,
“Dimension and Specification” in this manual.
3. Place the 4WD lever to “2WD” position and apply
wheel chocks to the front wheels. It is necessary
for the tractor not to move forward when the
engine starts.
4. If it is necessary to adjust the released position of
the HST forward/reverse pedals, loosen the
locking nuts(1)(3), adjust the height of the
forward / reverse pedal with turning the adjusting
rods(2)(4) to the left/right direction little by little.
After adjusting, tighten the locking nuts(1)(3).
5. Start the engine.
6. Loosen the locking nuts(5) and turn the HST
rod(6) slightly to the left or right with checking
that the rear axle does not rotate anymore. If the
neutral position is set, tighten the locking nuts(5).
7. Restart the engine and check again the neutral
state of the HST linkage.
8. If it is necessary to check the electric engine start
interlock system, loosen the locking nuts(7) and
check or replace the neutral switch(8).

▶When adjusting, DO NOT get close to the rotating parts. It may cause a serious
injury.
▶When lifting the rear of the tractor, the tractor may incline to the left or right by
oscillating angle of the front axle. Insert suitable chocks between front axle and
engine frame symmetrically and tightly.
