Start the engine. This adapts the vehicle
level.

Remove the jack from under the vehicle.
#
To lower the vehicle: place the ratchet onto
the hexagon nut of the jack so that the letters
"AB" are visible and turn counter-clockwise.
#
Tighten the wheel bolts evenly in a diagonal
pattern in the order indicated 1 to 5 with
an initial maximum force of 59 lb- (80 Nm).
#
Tighten the wheel bolts evenly in a diagonal
pattern in the order indicated 1 to 5 with
the specied tightening torque of 111 lb-
(150 Nm).

WARNING Risk of accident due to incor-
rect tightening torque
The wheels could come loose if the wheel
bolts or wheel nuts are not tightened to the
prescribed torque.

Ensure that the wheel bolts or wheel
nuts are tightened to the prescribed
tightening torque.
#
If you are not sure, do not move the vehi-
cle. Contact a qualied specialist work-
shop and have the tightening torque
checked immediately.
#
Check the tire pressure of the newly installed
wheel and adjust it if necessary.

The following does not apply if the new wheel
is an emergency spare wheel.

tem: restart the tire pressure monitoring sys-

The wheel or tire sizes and the tire type of the
emergency spare wheel or spare wheel and
the wheel to be replaced may dier. The emer-

vehicle.

Never install more than one emergency

in size.
