Tiller Handle Model Features
• Throttle only button ‑ Pressing in the button while the
outboard is in neutral allows the boat operator to increase
engine RPM for warm‑up, without shifting the engine into
gear.
• Steering friction adjustment ‑ Adjust this lever to achieve the
desired steering friction (drag) on the tiller handle. Move
lever to the left to tighten friction or move to the right to
loosen friction.
!
WARNING
Insufficient friction adjustment can cause serious injury or
death due to loss of boat control. When setting the friction
adjustment, maintain sufficient steering friction to prevent the
outboard from steering into a full turn if the tiller handle or
steering wheel is released.
