Basic settings

The oven must not be operated
until it has been correctly installed in
its housing unit.
The oven will switch on automatically
when it is connected to the electricity
supply.
Welcome screen
The greeting "Miele Willkommen" will
appear in the display, and you will then
be requested to select some basic
settings which are needed before the
appliance can be used.
^ Follow the instructions in the display.
Set the language
^ Scroll through the list until the
language you want appears.
^ Touch the illuminated C sensor
next to the language you want to
select.
^ Select "OK".
Select the country
^ Scroll through the list until the country
you want appears.
^ Touch the illuminated C next to the
country you want to select.
^ Select "OK".
Set the date
^ Use "+" or "–" to set the year, month
and day.
^ Select "OK" after selecting each
setting.
Set the time of day
^ Use the numerical keypad to set the
time of day in hours and minutes
(e. g. 1-2-1-5 for 12:15).
^ Select "OK".
The time of day can be displayed in
12 hour format (see "Settings - Time -
Clock format").
