Detergent
Powder detergents
Use powder detergent or detergent
tabs only in the door dispenser com-
partment.
Suitable products are available from
Miele Professional.
Detergent tabs can be used.
Only use detergent tabs that are
quick dissolving. Suitable detergent
tabs are available from Miele Profes-
sional.
Add powder detergent or detergent
tabs to the detergent compartment.
Detergent dosage
Unless directed otherwise, use one
detergent tab or add 20 to 25g deter-
gent to compartmentII, depending on
the level of soiling. With very heavy
soiling, you can also add a small
amount of detergent to compart-
mentl (see “Program chart”).
Failure to use the recommended
amount of detergent may adversely
affect the cleaning results.
Detergents containing active
chlorine must not be used.
They can damage plastics and elas-
tomers in the dishwasher.
Do not inhale or ingest powder
detergent. Do not swallow dish-
washer detergents. Dishwasher de-
tergents can cause burning in the
nose, mouth, and throat if swal-
lowed. Seek medical attention imme-
diately if detergent has been swal-
lowed or inhaled. Keep children away
from detergents. Keep children away
from the dishwasher when the door
is open. Detergent residues could
still be present in the machine. Do
not fill the detergent dispenser until
just before starting the program.
