Step 1 Turn the Camera On
The Basics of Shooting and Playback
Setting the Display Language, Date, and Time
Dialogs for language selection and camera clock setting are displayed the first time
the camera is turned on.
1 Press the multi selector H or I
to choose the desired language
and press the k button.
2 Press H or I to choose Yes and press the k
button.
3 Press J or K to select your
home time zone (Time zone),
and press the k button.
See “Daylight Saving Time” (A23) for
more information.
4 Press H or I to choose the date display order
and press the k button or K.
5 Press H, I, J or K to set date and time, and
press the k button.
Choose an item: Press K or J (selected in the following
order: D (day) M (month) Y (year) hour
minute). The item can also be chosen by rotating the
multi selector.
Set the contents: Press H or I. Date and time can also
be set by rotating the command dial.
Confirm the settings: Select the minute field and press the k button or K.
