Change SIM PIN
To change the SIM PIN code, follow these steps:
1. From the Start screen, swipe left.
2. Tap Settings.
3. Swipe left to the applications screen.
4. Tap phone.
5. If necessary, tap the SIM security slider to turn on and then follow the next 2 steps.
6. Enter the current SIM PIN.
7. Tap enter.
8. Tap change SIM PIN.
9. Enter your current SIM PIN and tap enter.
10. Enter the new SIM PIN.
11. Tap enter.
12. Re-enter the new SIM PIN.
13. Tap enter.
Turn on / off SIM PIN
The SIM PIN code can protect your SIM from being used in other devices. When you turn on the SIM PIN
lock, the device prompts you to enter the code after turning it on.
To lock and unlock the SIM card, follow these steps:
1. From the Start screen, swipe left.
2. Tap Settings.
3. Swipe left to the applications screen.
4. Tap phone.
5. Tap the SIM security slider to turn on or off.
6. Enter the SIM PIN.
Note: The default SIM PIN is 1234.
7. Tap enter.
