GREASING AND SERVICING
The electrical and propane systems will need to be checked over by an RV service technician. The lug nut torque requirements
are 100 lbs.
WARNING! Never use the leveling jacks to li the trailer completely from the ground for any reason including
servicing, repair work or re changes. To do so would cause the trailer to become unstable and unsafe. Always useful
proper liing equipment or have the work completed at an approved service locaon.
The servicing schedule may be aected by your usage amount and operang condions. Extended trips and a higher amount
of tough, o-road runs will result in a more frequent servicing schedule. Discuss your intended use and servicing metable
with your dealership to nd the opmum schedule for your OP4. It is always beer to aend to or catch small problems early
or before they occur rather than allowing problems to become larger or impact other systems or areas of your trailer. Failure
to service your trailer in a mely manner may mean that issues may full outside of or void your warranty due to failure to
complete proper maintenance (neglect).
The servicing requirements are:
• Check the wheel bearings every year - ensure these are checked by a qualied service technician.
• Check the lug nuts every 2000 miles - this includes the spare res nuts.
• Check the re pressure every 2000 miles - the re scker on the interior of the door will supply the appropriate pressure.
• Have the dual coil suspension serviced every year; a dealership will complete the following services:
• Check and ensure the Zerk ngs on the suspension are in good condion and that these are removed and the
suspension well oiled.
• Ulize a grease gun kit and some Moly-Grease.
• Check that the coil suspension is well greased (Moly-Grease suitable for suspension coils will also be acceptable here).
• Grease the hitch with some compound similar to Reese Heavy Duty Hitch Lubricant .
• Winterize the water tanks (see water system care & maintenance secon).
• Look for signs of chipped paint around the body work. We can supply a cover paint kit to dress this.
CHANGING A TIRE
• Ensure you are on level ground
• Deploy your corner steadies
• *Important* DO NOT use your corner steadies to li the trailer o the ground
• Use a jack on the suspension li point to raise your trailer
• Change your re
Torque all wheel bolts to 100 lbs. When ghtening wheel nut lugs, please ghten bolts in
a star-paern order as indicated in the diagram to the right.
BATTERY INFORMATION
• Baery type: AGM.
• Best way to charge: Apply saturated charge to prevent sulfaon; can remain on charge with correct oat voltage.
• Charge methods: Constant voltage to 2.40-2.45V/cell, oat at 2.25-2.30V/cell. Baery should stay cool -- no fast charge
possible.
• Charge me: 14-16 hours.
• Discharge: Can endure high peak currents. Avoid full discharges. Charge aer each use.
• Storage: Keep cells at >2.05V. Apply topping charge every 6 months to prevent sulfaon.
• Disposal: Toxic. Do not dispose. Electrolyte corrosive. Protable to recycle.
• How to prolong baery life:
• Limit deep cycling.
• Do not deep-cycle starter baery.
• Apply fully saturaon charge.
• Avoid heat.
• Transport : Flooded: Class 8 restricons, provide “corrosive” label. Non-spillable: Class 8 exempt.
TROUBLESHOOTING
Water System
Issue: Water pump is running when all faucets & valves are closed
Troubleshoot: Possible leak in the system? Idenfy leaking ng and aempt to ghten the ng; usually hand-ght should
be sucient without the need for a wrench which could potenally over-ghten and damage the system. If sll leaking,
disconnect and check for debris or degrading within the ng.
Issue: Water pump running but no water at faucets
Troubleshoot: No water in tanks? Check for faulty sensor that could be misleading you to think that there is water in the
tanks. Possibly the sensor needs cleaning or replacing. Check water hose is in the correct quick for that appliance (see page
25 for water diagram
Issue: Water is coming out of the quick connects when nothing is aached
Troubleshoot: Make sure the exterior ring on the female side of the quick connect is retracted towards the camper and is
clicked in place.
Propane System
Issue: Stove top won’t stay ignited.
Troubleshoot: Press and hold the ignion/ dial for 10 seconds to overcome the safety thermocouple.
Consider the outside temperature; cold weather can cause the BTU of propane to drop. This can impact overall performance
of the propane system. Keep your propane tanks full during cold weather and check other appliances that might also be using
propane at the me. Be sure to turn your propane on slowly so you do not ood the regulator and cause it to shut o for
safety. Search for kinks in your propane line within the kitchen slide out frame between your stove top and gas quick connect.
Electrical System
Issue: Camper isn’t charging when connected to Shore Power
Troubleshoot: Check that the 30amp power cord is funconing by looking for the green light on the end of the power cord.
Check that the NOCO charger is receiving power by looking for the green lights on the NOCO. If no green lights are showing,
check that it is plugged into the 3-pin socket in the same storage compartment that it is mounted in. Then, check that the
breakers in the 120v power panel in the foot-well of the camper are all in the ‘on’ posion.
Please note that if you have run your baeries down to a very low voltage or stored your OPUS without connecng to
power you may need to place you baeries on an automove tricker charger on the lowest seng for 48-36 hours to revive
them; the NOCO will not re-charge baeries with a very low voltage/ completely dead baery. Please note that we do NOT
recommend allowing your baeries to get below 12volts as they will begin degrading which will result in a shorter lifespan
of your baeries.
Issue: Fridge showing low power
Troubleshoot: Ensure your fridge is set to ‘Lo’ by toggling through the opons on the digital panel or using the App. This is the
opmal seng for your fridge to run o of the baeries. Make sure your baeries are pung out enough voltage (see page
26-27 for more informaon on the baery system and page 21 for more info on your fridge)
