11.07.08 Bobbin-thread retaining spring
Requirement
The retaining spring 1 must
1. reliably retain the bobbin thread after cutting and
2. neither hinder the thread return nor the removal and replacement of the bobbin case.
● Set thread trimmer at its resting position.
● Adjust retaining spring 1 (screws 2) so that the interior edge of the retaining spring is
flush with the thread catcher 3 and as close as possible to the front edge of the thread
catcher (see arrow).
● By bending retaining spring 1, adjust its height, so that the retaining spring

1 touches the
bottom side of the thread catcher 3 (see arrow).
