Settings
If your computer is added as a Computer type of device in the
Source menu (the list of connections), the TV is set to the ideal
Computer setting automatically.
If you use your computer to watch movies or use it to play
games, you might want to set the TV back to the ideal TV
watching or gaming setting.
To set the TV to the ideal setting manually…
1 - Press
and press
(left) for
Setup
.
2 - Click
Picture
>
Advanced
and click
Game or Computer
.
3 - Click
Game
(for gaming) or click
Computer
(for watching a
movie).
4 - Press
BACK
repeatedly if necessary, to close the menu.
Remember to set the Game or computer setting back
to
Computer
when you stop playing the game.

Headphones
You can connect a set of headphones to the
connection on
the back of the TV. The connection is a mini-jack 3.5mm. You
can adjust the volume of the headphones separately.
To adjust the volume…
1 - Press
and press
(left)
Setup
.
2 - Click
Sound
>
Headphones Volume
and click inside the
slider bar to adjust the value.
3 - Press
BACK
repeatedly if necessary, to close the menu.

Wireless Subwoofer SWB50
Connect
Your TV comes with the wireless subwoofer Philips SWB 50.
If you did not pair the wireless subwoofer with the TV during
the initial TV installation or if the subwoofer was paired with
another TV before, you can pair the subwoofer with this TV in
the Setup menu.
To pair the subwoofer with the TV…
1 - Position the subwoofer within a distance of 5 meter from the
TV and connect it to the mains power. The switch on the
subwoofer will start blinking.
2 - On the TV remote control, press
and press
(left) for
Setup
.
3 - Click
Sound
>
Wireless Speaker
>
Add New Speaker
.
4 - On the subwoofer, press the switch for at least 4 seconds -
the switch will blink fast.
5 - On the TV, select
Connect
and press
OK
to start pairing the
subwoofer with the TV.
6 - A message will show when the pairing was succesful.
7 - Press
BACK
repeatedly if necessary, to close the menu.
Ideal Placement
Make sure the subwoofer is within a distance of 5 meter from
the TV. Also, position the subwoofer at least 30 cm away from a
wall or large vertical surface. You can put the subwoofer flat or
upright.
Ideally, position the wireless subwoofer underneath the couch
where you sit when watching TV.
On, Standby or Blinking
Once the wireless subwoofer is paired with the TV, it will switch
on when you switch on the TV and switch to standby when you
switch the TV to standby. You can unplug the subwoofer from
the mains power but it might take a while before the subwoofer
automatically connects to the TV again.
Switch LED colours
• Red, the subwoofer is in standby.
• Blue, the subwoofer is paired and plays the sound of the TV.
• Blue slow blinking, the subwoofer is not connected to a TV.
• Blue fast blinking, the subwoofer is open for pairing with a TV.
