NOTE: Make sure the intake hose is not twisted during installation.
21. Turn fuel shut-off valve (on fuel tank) to the ON position (Figure 14-21, Page 14-27 and Figure 14-22,
Page 14-28).
22. Connect the battery cables, positive (+) cable first, and tighten terminals to 20 ft-lb (27.1 N·m). Coat ter-
minals with Battery Terminal Protector Spray (CCI P/N 1014305).
23. Test drive the vehicle.

GENERAL INFORMATION
It is important that the accelerator pedal, governor linkage, and throttle adjustments are done correctly and in
the proper sequence. See following CAUTION.

spring to look

rotating valve counterclockwise
to seat spring in seat of float bowl.
CAUTION: DO NOT REMOVE VALVE/SPRING
FROM FLOAT. TO DO SO WILL DAMAGE SPRING.
