TAPE COPYING from peck 1 to Deck
e
The
tape
copying
function
permits
you
to
copy
the
contents
of
a tape
from
DECK
|
to
DECK
II.
e
The
SYNCHRO
COPY
button
is
used
to
select
either
normal
speed
copying,
or
high-speed
copying
(copying
at
twice
the
normal
playback
speed).
1.
Load
a
tape
for
playback
into
DECK
|
and
a
tape
for
recording into DECK Il.
2. Set the REV MODE switch.
3. Set the tape transport direction.
@
Tape
copying
is
always
performed
in
the
direction
indicated
by
the
tape
transport
indicator
(1
or
>).
To
change
this
direction,
press
the
desired
playback
button
(m
or
<4),then
immediately
press
the
stop
(lm)
button.
4,
Press
the
SYNCHRO
COPY
button
to
select either
NORMAL or HIGH speed.
NORMAL : Tape copying at normal speed allows you to listen
during playback (COPY indicator lights).
HIGH :Tape copying at double speed (COPY indicator
flashes).
To stop copying
Press
the
stop
(i)
button
of
either
deck.
Both
decks
will
stop.
NOTES:
@
The
tape
in
DECK
II
will
be
copied
in
the
same
type
of
the
DOLBY
NR
(B/C)
as
DECK
Is
tape
, regardless
of
its
own
setting.
When
listening
to
the
copied
tape,
set
the
type
of
the
DOLBY
NR
(B/C)
to
the
type
used
for
recording.
e
/f
a
nearby
television
set
is
on
while
high-speed
copying
is
being
performed,
a
high-pitches
interference
sound
may
be
heard
on
the
tape.
In
this
case,
either
use
the
normal
speed
copying
function,
or
turn
off
the
television.
e
During
high-speed
copying,
none
of
the
operation
buttons
will
function
except
for
the
stop
(il)
button.
@
During
normal
speed
copying,
the
recording
mute
(O)
and
pause
(tl)
buttons
of
deck
II
also
function.
@
Tape
copying
is
cancelled
when
either
of
the
two
tapes
reaches
the
end.
Therefore
it
is advisable
to
use
tapes
of
the
same
length.
@ The sound quality of the copied tape will be somewhat less
than the original. Therefore when making more than one copy;
always
record
from
the
original
tape
(do
not
make
a
copy
or
a
copy).
@
The
recording
level
adjustment
is
not
necessary
during
tape
copying.

CASS ETTEN (DECK I zu DECK Il)
@ Die Uberspielfunktion ermdglicht das Kopieren von Titeln einer
in DECK | eingelegten Cassette zu der Cassette in DECK II.
e@ Mit der SYNCHRO COPY-Taste kann zwischen Uberspielen mit
normaler Bandgeschwindigkeit und Uberspielen mit zweifacher
Bandgeschwindigkeit gewahlt werden.
1. Die Cassette fir Wiedergabe in DECK I und die
Cassette fiir Aufnahme in DECK II einlegen.
2. Den REV MODE-Schalter einstellen.
3. Die Bandlaufrichtung wahlen.
e@ Das Band lauft beim Uberspielbetrieb immer in der
angezeigten Richtung (1 bzw.) an. Zum Wechseln der
Bandlaufrichtung die betreffende Wiedergabetaste (» bzw.
~4) und sofort danach die Stopptaste (m) driicken.
4. Mit der SYNCHRO COPY-Taste NORMAL oder HIGH
wahlen.
NORMAL _ -:Uberspielbetrieb mit normaler Bandgeschwindigkeit
bei gleichzeitiger Tonwiedergabe (Anzeige "COPY"
leuchtet).
HIGH :Uberspielbetrieb mit zweifacher Bandgeschwin-
digkeit (Anzeige "COPY" blinkt).
Stoppen des Uberspielvorgangs
Die Stopptaste (m) eines der beiden Decks driicken. Beide Decks
schalten dabei auf Stopp.
ANMERKUNGEN:
e Das Band in DECK Il wird mit derselben DOLBY NR-
Einstellung (B/C) wie das Band in DECK !| kopiert,
unabhangig von seiner eigenen Einstellung. Bei der
Wiedergabe der erhaltenen Kopie die wahrend der
Aufnahme
verwendete
DOLBY
NR-Einstellung
(B/C)
verwenden. —
e Wenn beim Uberspielen mit zweifacher Bandgeschwindigkeit
in der Nahe ein Fernsehgerat lauft, kann ein hochfrequenter
Stérton auf das Band aufgezeichnet werden. In diesem Falf
entweder mit normaler Bandgeschwindigkeit Uiberspielen oder
das Fernsehgerat ausschalten.
e Beim Uberspielen mit zweifacher Bandgeschwindigkeit sind mit
Ausnahme der Stopptasten (™) alle Tasten funktionslos,
e Beim Uberspielen mit normaler Bandgeschwindigkeit kénnen
die Aufnahmstummschaltungstaste (0) und die Pausentaste (il)
wie gewohnt verwendet werden.
e Der Uberspielbetrieb stoppt, sobald das Bandende einer der
beiden Cassetten erreicht ist. Es empfiehit sich daher, zwei
Cassetten mit derselben Bandlange zu verwenden.
e@ Beim Uberspielen leidet die Klangqualitét geringfugig. Zum
Anfertigen mehrere Kopien sollte man daher stets vom Original
dberspielen (und nicht eine Kopie von einer Kopie erstellen).
e Beim Uberspielen ist eine Aussteuerung nicht erforderlich.
