MAINTENANCE
Circuit Breaker
The electrical system is protected
with a 15A circuit breaker. In order to
reset the circuit breaker, locate and
push the reset button on top of the
electrical box.
Battery Maintenance And
Charging
Battery electrolyte is poisonous. It contains sulfuric acid. Serious burns can result
from contact with the skin, eyes or clothing.
Antidote:
EXTERNAL
-
Flush with water.
INTERNAL
-
Drink large quantities of water or milk. Follow with milk of mag-
nesia, beaten egg or vegetable oil. Call a physician immediately.
EYES
-
Flush with water for
15
minutes and get prompt medical attention.
Batteries produce explosive gases. Keep sparks, flame, cigarettes, etc.
away. Ventilate when charging or using in closed space. Always shield eyes
when working near batteries. KEEP OUT OF THE REACH OF CHILDREN.
The battery must be removed from the watercraft for maintenance and charging.
Battery electrolyte may spill and damage the watercraft.
Always disconnect the black (negative) cable first. Electrolyte or fuel vapors may be
present in the engine compartment and a spark could ignite them which could cause
personal injury. When
reinstalling battery connect black (negative) cable last.
