This chapter will help familiarize you with the
various controls. You will find that the controls
operate very much like a Compact Disc (CD) player
and other devices you may have used in the past. For
example, buttons such as NEXT, PREV (Previous), and
PLAY operate just like a CD.
Receiver Features and Functions
1.LCD Information Display
Displays information about programming and
about your Command Audio receiver.
2.Power Switch
Select ON to listen to programs and to receive
and store new programs as you listen. You can
also make selections from the Program Guide
and Options.
Select STANDBY to receive and store new
programs. All other receiver functions are off.
When not listening switch to standby. We can not
update a program that is paused or playing.
Select the OFF position to turn the receiver
functions off. Remember, only choose off when
in an aircraft or when you will not use the
receiver for an extended period of time. The
receiver cannot receive and store new program
updates when it is turned off.
3.Mode Switch
Playback— Use to listen to programs you have
selected from the Program Guide.
Program Guide—Use to select programs on the
Command Audio service.
Options— Use for advanced features and to
personalize your settings.
