Chapter 7: Troubleshooting
Trouble Checks and
Adjustments
No power
Maybe the batteries are weak.
- Open the battery cover and remove and
reinsert the batteries.
- Plug in a power cord and recharge the
batteries. (See Using Batteries for more details
on battery life.)
Check if the power cord is plugged in, if no
batteries.
Make sure the power mode switch is in the ON
position and the mode switch is in the PLAYBACK
position.
Does not play the programs chosen
Check to see if the receiver has power first.
Check that the Power mode switch is in the ON
position. And the Mode switch is in the PLAYBACK
position.
Check the to see when the program is
transmitted. Switch positions On/Playback, find
the program you want to hear and press the
More Info button.
Check the No Signal LED, if it is blinking then
move the power and mode switches to ON and
Options. Press the MORE INFO button.
Note: A pulsing tone is a bad signal strength. A
steady tone is a good signal strength. If a bad
signal is found, move the receiver around until
a steady tone is heard. Extend the antenna or
collapse the antenna to help reception. If you
normally do not get FM radio stations at this
location, then you will not get the Command
Audio Service.
