3.6 Troubleshooting Flow Chart
Baseband check
LCD, key, or
speaker is normal?
Abnormal power on?
Replace 20-pin data
cable or LCD.
5VD and 3V3D for the
control head are
normal?

power supply,
antenna connection, or the
circuit for rear board fan
is normal?
Adjust the external
power supply, connect
the antenna properly,
or check the circuit for
the rear board fan.
Normal 19.2 MHz
clock frequency?

Check Q2002 circuit.
Check X7000
and the filter

Check components of PHY
chip (U4010) and rear board.
Check circuits of U1002
and U1003.
5VD voltage is

supply circuit for

Repair the reset
circuit for the
control head.

Description of Normal Situations:
1) The repeater shows normal power-on screen and the LED indication is normal.
2) The speaker can sound alert tones normally and receive audio properly.
3) Amplitude of the 19.2 MHz clock in the control section is up to 1.2Vpp.
4) The fan works normally.
