If the automatic VCR Plus+ download continuously fails for
any reason, you will "see the prompt:

If you decide to turn off Auto VCR Plus+ all together, you
can do this by:
1. Press the MENU button on the remote control to access
the VCR's MAIN MENU
2. Press 4 to access the CHANNELS menu.

1 Auto Channel Search
2 Add/Remove Channels
Signal Type: CABLE
4 VCR PLus+ Setup
5 Cable Box Setup
0 Exit
3, Press 4 to access the VCR Plus+ Setup menu.

Pressing 1 will take you to a screen to manually map
VCR Plus+ channels. Pressing 2 will toggle between
Auto VCR Plus+ ON or OFF.
Make sure this feature is turned off if you continually
get "fail to download" prompts and map the channels
manually.
