Both
speaker outputs

the
PHONES
output
can
be
limited to an
individual,
maximum listening
volume.

(by
ear)
The degree
to
which the volume
is to be
limited depends
on the
personal
listening
habits ofthe user
and on the acoustics
ofthe
room.
This feature can
also be used
to
protect
se-
condary
speakers of
limited capacity
from
being overloaded.
Note:
Whenever
the speaker
is changed over,
the
volume is automatically
set
to the
pro-
grammed power-on
volume.

PHONES
output active
(SPEAKER
pairs
A and B are muted).
The
flashing
0 dB
indicator
signals
ready for
programmrng.
Recommendation:
ln
order to optimize the effective
range
of
the
subsequently described LOUDNESS cor-
rection, the maximum volume should be set
slightly
higher
than the
normal listening vo-
lume.
The maximum adjustable
volume
is indicat-
ed
with
-0dB
(not
flashing).
Note:
lf
both speaker
pairs
are activated but differ-
ent
maximum
volumes
have
been defined,
the
lower level
becomes effective.
