ducing
machine.
Copying
from tape 2 to

is
possible
by
reversing the operating
modes.

enables the user to
check the
quality
of a tape
recording
while
the
recording
is
still
in
progress
(monitoring
via
the
repro-
duce
head).

Howevel this is only
possible
if
the
recorder
is equipped with separate
record/repro-
duce
heads
and
a
selector
switch
for
source
/
tape
monitoring.
All REVOX recorders satisfy this
require-
ment.
All signal sources such
as TUNER,
PHONO,
DISC, and TAPE
(reproducting
recorder
when copying to a second recorder)
are
fea s ib le.
The monitor switch
on
the recorder must be
in
the
TAPE
position.
The
recording is reproduced
with a slight
delay
(corresponding
to the length
of the
tape
path
between the
record and the
repro-
duce
head).
An arrow in the display
field indicates that
tape monitoring is acitve. The buttons
TAPE
MONITOR 112 can only be selected
alterna-
tely. MONITOR
preselection
is
switched
off
as soon as a
new
source
is
selected.
