Turning On the Power
Press the operation switch to turn the machine on.
Note
❒ This machine automatically enters low power mode or turns itself off if not
used for a specified duration. See “4. Auto Off Timer” on p.53 “System Set-
tings”.

This machine has two power switches:

❖ Operation switch (right side of the control panel)
Press to activate the machine. When the machine has finished warming up,
you can make copies.

❖ Main power switch (left side of the machine)
When the machine is not to be used for an extended period of time, turn off
the main power switch.
Turning On the Main Power

Make sure the power cord is firmly plugged into the wall outlet.

Turn on the main power switch.
The main power indicator on the control panel lights.
