If you are using the camera for the first time, read this section.
About the Electronic Level
When [Level Setting] is turned on, the camera uses a level indicator
and level sound to let you know whether the image is level during
shooting.
This is useful for keeping the image level when taking pictures of
scenery or buildings. This is also very useful for taking pictures with the
horizon visible.
Note -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The level indicator is displayed during normal symbol display, zoom assist
display, and histogram display.
Available Settings Description
Off The level indicator will not display. The level sound will not emit.
Display The level indicator will display. The level sound will not emit.
Display + Sound The level indicator appears on the screen and a level sound is
emitted when the image is level.
Sound The level indicator will not display. A level sound is emitted
when the image is level.

Select [Level Setting] in the setup
menu (GP.114) and push the
ADJ./OK button F.
You can also press and hold the DISP.
button in shooting mode to display
the setting menu.

Push the ADJ./OK button !" to select the setting and then
press the ADJ./OK button.
