Cutting the ASPDFK or ESPIPE900 may be needed to achieve the required ue length to connect
to another component.

Cutting components to achieve the desired ue length
1. Measure and mark o󰀨 the outer pipe at the desired length.
2. Cut the outer pipe to the required length. Take care not to cut the inner pipe.
3. From the new end of the outer pipe measure and mark o󰀨 an additional 12 mm on the inner
pipe. Cut the inner pipe at this mark. Take care to keep the cut parallel to the outer pipe.
The additional 12 mm shown in the diagram above is required to allow the component to be joined
to another part.
• The minimum length of the ASPDFK when measured from the back plate of the
transition casting MUST NOT be less than 300 mm when joining to other components.
• Ensure all burrs and swarf are removed from any cut ends.
• ESPIPE900 can be cut to size at the non-socketed end
