How to select a “Variation” Sound
(1) Set Free Panel mode by pressing the Patch button; the
relative LED will be turned off,
(2) Press button CC 00 [7], and its LED will show that, by
means of the numerical buttons, the following section will
be interpreted as a bank of the “Variation” Sound.
(3) Use the numerical buttons to enter the “Variation” bank
number.
(4) Confirm by pressing the Enter button [12].
(5) The LED of the CC 00 button will be switched off.
(6) The LED of the Prog. Change button [13] will be lit.
(7) Enter the sound to be recalled by means of the numerical
buttons.
(8) Confirm your choice by pressing the Enter button [12].
(9) Only when pressing the Enter button will the ''Variation"
and ‘‘Program Change” message be sent for the selection
of the sound.
How to set MIDI Channels and Various Parameters for
each section (Upper/Lower)
To set MIDI transmission channel:
(1) Press the Edit button [19] until the LED relative to the
section where you wish to set the MIDI channel is lit.
(2) Set Free Panel mode by pressing the Patch button [6] until
its LED is turned off.
(3) Press MIDI/PARAM button [13]. The LED will be lit and
will show that another selection by means of the numeri-
cal buttons is to be interpreted as a MIDI channel of the
section shown, or as a parameter (see table to follow).
(4) By means of the numerical buttons, choose the number
of the MIDI channel to be assigned to the section selected.
(5) Confirm by pressing the Enter button [12].
