Getting Ready
You can use the R-05 with a separately sold
dedicated AC adaptor.
Never use any adaptor other than the dedicated
one; doing so can lead to malfunction.
1. Make sure that the power is off.
2. Connect the AC adaptor’s DC plug
to the DC IN jack.
Place the AC adaptor so that the surface with the
indicator is upward.

3. Plug the AC adaptor into an electrical outlet.
The AC adaptor’s indicator will light.
4. Slide the [POWER] switch toward POWER for
several seconds; the power will turn on. To
turn the power off, slide the [POWER] switch
once again toward POWER for several
seconds.

When the power turns on, a screen like the
following will appear in the display. We’ll call this
the “main screen.”
