The following parameters are not saved in System memory or Setup memory. They will return to the default settings when you
power-off the V-Piano.
Tone Button Mode
Local Switch
Leave the USB Driver at the GENERIC setting. If you change this to ORIGINAL, you’ll need dedicated drive software in order to
connect the V-Piano to your computer. For more about the dedicated driver software, refer to the Roland website.

EQ Mode
Equalizer settings can be saved within each setup. When you switch setups,
this setting specifies whether the equalizer settings will change to the
settings saved in that setup (SETUP) or will not change (SYSTEM).

USB Driver
Specifies the USB driver to use when you connect your computer via the
USB MIDI connector. Leave the USB Driver at the GENERIC setting.

USB Memory Mode
In certain cases, data reading may be slow or unsuccessful when you
connect USB memory to the USB memory connector. If so, you may be able
to solve the problem by switching this USB memory setting.
MODE1, MODE2 MODE2
V-Piano Output Mode
Specifies the output(s) from which the V-Piano’s sound will be sent
(OUTPUT A jacks and/or OUTPUT B jacks).

GM2/WAV Output Mode
Specifies the output(s) from which SMF music data or audio data playback
will be sent (OUTPUT A jacks and/or OUTPUT B jacks).

Output Balance Specifies the volume balance of the OUTPUT A jacks and OUTPUT B jacks.
