Press
this
key
to
move
the
carriage
to
the
left
margin
with
out
a line
feed.
(The

must
be cleared.)
On
the
display,
the
cursor
moves
one
space
to
the
right.

this
key
is
held
down,
it
repeats
the
same
operation continuously.
RETURN
KEV
Pressing
the
Return
key
causes
the
paper
to
feed
forward
one
line
and
causes
the
car
r
iage
to
return
to
the
left
margin.
In addition,
the
correction
memory
is
cleared.

MODE
KEV
This
key
is
used
to
chang
e the mo

(The
typewriter can
be
in one
of

modes.)
When
the
Mode
Key
is
pressed
,
the
mode
changes
and
the
"T"
mark
appears
on
the
di
splay
above
the
mode
that
is
in
use.

When
the
typewriter
is first
turned
on,
it
is
in
Normal
Pr

nt
(NP)
mode.

In
this
mode,
lines
or
text
are
printed
one
at
a time.
Characters
that
are in
put
appear
on
the
