troubleshooting
your
belt
and disc sander.
TROUBLE

CAUSE

Motor will not run.
1. Defective
On-Off switch.
Defective
switch cord.
Defective switch box.
2. Burned out
motor.
1. Replace
defective
parts
before
using belt and
disc sander
again.

Consult seller's
service.
Any
attempt to
repair this motor
may create a
HAZARD unless
repair is
done
by a
qualified
service technician.
Consult
the
seller
for
the
nearest stores or
centres
at
which
repair
service
is available.
Machine
slows
down
when
sanding.
1. Timing
belt
is too tight.
2. Applying too much
pressure
to
workpiece.
1. Decrease belt tension, see

2. Ease
up
on
pressure.
Sanding
Belt runs
off
drums.
1. Not tracking
properly.

burns
while
sanding.

Sanding
disc or belt
is
glazed
with
sap.
