Internet and Social Networking 104
Internet and Social Networking
The following topics describe how to connect to and use the Internet on your tablet, and how to access
popular social networking sites such as Facebook, Google Hangouts, Instagram, and more.
Note: Additional popular social networking apps, such as LinkedIn, Snapchat, and Periscope, may be
available for download via Google Play. See Google Play Store for more information.
Data Services General Information (4G LTE)
The following topics will help you learn the basics of using your data services, including managing your
user name, launching a data connection, and navigating the Web with your tablet.
Important: Certain data services requests may require additional time to process. While your tablet is
loading the requested service, the touchscreen or QWERTY keyboard may appear unresponsive when in
fact they are functioning properly. Allow the tablet some time to process your data usage request.
4G LTE
The 4G LTE network provides your tablet with wireless Internet access over greater distances than Wi-Fi
and delivers data transfer rates of up to 60 Mbps. To connect your tablet to a 4G LTE network, you need
to be in an area covered by a 4G LTE network.
For more information about the availability of Sprint 4G LTE service in your location, visit
sprint.com/coverage.
Note: The availability and range of the network depends on a number of factors, including your distance
to the base station, and infrastructure and other objects through which the signal passes.
Note: The Sprint networks are self-discoverable, which means no additional steps are required for your
tablet to connect to them.
