Google Search Options
Note: To view the Google search Menu options, you may need to tap the Back key to return to
the main Google screen.
● Changing search information: In the search window, tap Menu > Settings > Tablet
search and select where to search.
● Using Google Now: Google Now automatically searches for information based on search
keywords used, your current location, etc., and presents search results in the search screen.
Google Now also informs users of scheduled events.
To enable Google Now, in the search window, tap Menu > Settings. Tap Now cards,
and then tap On/Off next to Show cards.
To disable Google Now, in the search window, tap Menu > Settings. Tap Now cards,
and then tap On/Off next to Show cards. Tap Turn off to confirm.
Samsung Kids
Samsung Kids is a monthly service which provides easy access to age‑appropriate activities while also
using parental security features.
Update Samsung Kids
The first time you use Samsung Kids, you will be prompted to update the app.
1. From home, tap Apps > Samsung Kids .
The Google Play store will launch to the Samsung Kids page.
2. Tap Update > Accept to update the app, and then follow the prompts.
Lookout
Lookout Mobile Security provides key security options, such as anti-virus and anti-malware technology, a
lost and stolen device locater service, an application privacy adviser, and a backup service.
1. From home, tap Apps > Lookout .
2. Tap Get started, review the introductory screens by tapping Next, and then tap New user to sign
up for an account, or Existing user to sign in.
