16 Section 2A: Your Sprint PCS Phone – The Basics
14. Side Camera Keylets you activate the camera and video
mode and take pictures and videos.
15. BACK Key lets you display the previous page or clear
characters from the screen.
16. Side Call Keylets you place calls without opening the
phone.
17. Softkey (right) lets you select the menu corresponding to
the bottom right line on the Main LCD.
18. Speakerlets you hear the different ringers and sounds. You
can mute the ringer when receiving incoming calls by
pressing , , or any of the side keys.
19. LED Indicator shows your phone’s connection status at a
glance.
20. Sub LCDlets you monitor the phone’s status and see who’s
calling without opening the phone.
21. Flash the built-in flash lets you take pictures and videos in
low light.
22. Camera Lens the built-in camera lens lets you take pictures
and videos.
23. Antenna fully extend the antenna for the best reception.
24. Headset Jack allows you to plug in an optional headset for
convenient, hands-free conversations.
25. Ready Link/Memo Buttonallows you to access the
Sprint PCS Ready Link List or Voice Memo menu.

26. Side Volume Keylets you adjust the receiver volume during
a call or ringer volume in standby mode. You can also use it
to scroll up or down to navigate through the different
menu options.
