Press and hold the journal paper release lever down and
remove the existing paper roll from the paper roll location.
Be sure to pull the roll in the direction of the arrow.

Remove the paper roll from the take-up spool.
Removing a paper jam
1.
Remove the printer cover.
2.
Pressing the receipt and journal paper release levers at the same time, lift part up. (See the drawing
below.)
3.
Remove the paper jam.
4.
Replace part gently.
5.
Reset the paper roll correctly following the steps shown in “Installing the paper roll”.
6.
Replace the printer cover.
