Entry Meaning
Onboard Ethernet Enable the on-board Ethernet interface. Resources are managed
by the BIOS PCI Plug & Play mechanism.
[Disabled] Ethernet inactive.
Ethernet interface hardware is switched off.
The operating system can not operate the interface
[Enabled] Ethernet active.
Subsequent plugging of the network cable
and its operation possible at any time (Hot-Plug).
If no cable is plugged on system start
the device checks during the boot sequence, for a
time of approx. 30 seconds, and when recovering
from suspend mode, for a time of approx.
40 seconds, for an existing Ethernet connection.
Noticeable delays do not occur as long as an
active network connection does not exist.
LAN Remote Boot [Enabled] [Disabled]
Switch on/off Oprom scan to activate remote
boot via the onboard Ethernet.
CRT / LCD selection [LCD only] All data is output only to the internal
LCD, the 15-way VGA port is disabled
[CRT only] For maximum resolution the display
signals are output only to the 15-way
VGA port; the LCD interface of the VGA
controller is disabled.
[Simultan. Auto] Choose Simultan. Auto if sometimes a CRT is
connected, CRT will only be active if connected.
[Simultan. Forced CRT] Both display interfaces are enabled
and operate simultaneously. Note,
however, that the LCD does not
support all resolutions.
LCD Screensize [Normal] The display window in Text and Graphic
modes is not expanded to full screen size.
[Expand] The Graphic and Text modes are expanded
to full screen size.
Touchpad [Enabled] The Touchpad is switched on.
[Disabled] The Touchpad is switched off
[Auto Detect] The Touchpad is automatically detected.
Note: All modifications of this interface are not active
until a restart of the PG.
