9.2 Uninstalling the Manage MyResources client
9.2.1 Uninstalling with SINUMERIK Operate
Before you start to install a new client in Manage MyMachines / Tool with SINUMERIK Operate
on the SINUMERIK controller, you must uninstall previous versions!
Note
SINUMERIK controller remains connected to the server
SINUMERIK controller remains connected to the server when you uninstall the client.
Prerequisite
You must delete the following files at the client if you have installed an older version of Manage
MyResources and you completely reinstall the server:
● toolDataIds0.json
● toolDataIds1.json
The files are in the following directory:
● NCU: /card/user/sinumerik/hmi/cfg
● Windows PCU: C:\Program Files (x86)\Siemens\MotionControl\user\sinumerik\hmi\cfg
If you do not delete the files, you do not see the local tools of the machine in the "Monitor tools"
window.
You can still delete the files after the client and server have been installed.
Procedure
1. Start "SINUMERIK Integrate".
2. Press the "Settings" softkey.
3. Press the "Basic Installation" softkey.
4. Select the installed version of MMR Operate Client from the overview.
5. Select the "Uninstall" softkey.
6. The following prompt is displayed: "Do you really want to uninstall this application: MMR /
Tools".
