Encoder alarm:
Alarm code: 74
Alarm level: 1
Alarm cause: an encoder channel is disconnected, and motor is working.
In case of such alarm, follow this procedure:
1. Verify whether the encoder is correctly connected to:
Motor itself
GND
supply 5-12V
A channel
B channel
2. Check the EyePlus when commanding motor. If A and B channels doesn't
commutate and the motor speed is very low, check the connections and measure
the encoder channels voltage. If the encoder is correctly wired and supplied, but the
channels don't commutate from 0 to 5V, replace the encoder.
2. If the wirings and signal are correct but diagnosis is not, replace the AC-M1.
Watchdog timer alarm:
Alarm code: 18
Alarm level: 1
Alarm cause: defective control board.
In case of such alarm, follow this procedure:
1. Using the EyePlus program interface, try to reload the software in the control board
memory.
2. If this fails, replace the AC-M1.
EEPROM alarm:
Alarm code: 5
Alarm level: 1
Alarm cause: EEPROM does not work properly, or one of stored values is out of
correct limits.
In case of alarm follow this procedure:
1. Load default values for EEPROM variables, both using COMPACT display or PC
PRELIMINARY VERSION 45
