Measurement method:
1. In B mode freeze the image, press the 【Calc】key to pop up the
Meas & Calc menu, move the trackball, use the cursor to select
“Cardiac”, press the【SET】key to go to the submenu, move the
trackball to select “LVMI”, press the【SET】key to go to.
2. Based on patient’s height and weight, calculate patient’s surface
area. Based on the measured patient’s LV mass, calculate LVMWI.
The calculation result is displayed in the result window. If height &
weight are not inputted or no LV Mass measurement is performed,
this item is not calculated.
3. Repeat steps 1 to 2 to go to the next calculation.
3.6.2.5 Small Part measurement
Small Part measurement includes:
Urology measurement
Prostate measurement
Thyroid measurement
3.6.2.5.1 URO measurement (RUV)
Function: Based on the measurement of three diameters on two
orthogonal planes, the bladder volume is estimated (Bi-Plane).
