Operations
Signal Selection
First select the destination, then the source. The level
selection depends on the setting at the terminal.
Before starting operations, turn on this unit and other
system equipment, and check that the X-HOLD/XPT
HOLD button is not lit.
Selecting a destination (MKS-8082 only)
Press a destination-select button to which the desired
destination has been assigned. The selected destination
will appear in the preset display window.
If the selected destination is an invalid one, an error
message “NotFound” will appear in the preset display
window.
Selecting a source
Press a source select button to which the desired source has
been assigned.
If your selection is not valid, an error message
“NotFound
will appear in the preset display window.

Breakaway (MKS-8082 Only)
Different sources can be used with multiple levels.
Selecting Breakaway

Press the LEVEL button.

Using source select buttons [1] to [8], select the desired
breakaway levels.

Press the LEVEL button.

Select the source.
Canceling Breakaway
Press the CLEAR button.
Use the type name?
No
Yes
Turn the SELECTOR knob while holding
the ASSIGN/ASGN button pressed.
Release the ASSIGN/ASGN button.
Turn the SELECTOR knob until the desired
source name appears.
Press the source select button to register
the selected source name while holding the
ASSIN/ASGN button pressed.
