Using a transport guard
The type of transport guard used
depends on the type of metal cutting
attachment supplied with the machine.
Transport guards are also available as
special accessories.
Circular saw blades
N Unhook retainer from transport
guard
N Swing retainer outward
N Fit the transport guard to the cutting
attachment from below, ensuring
that the stop is centered in the
recess
N Swing retainer inward
N Hook retainer into transport guard
Universal transport guard
N Unhook the retainer on the transport
guard and swing outward
N Fit the transport guard to the cutting
attachment from below as shown in
the illustration
N Hook the retainer into the hook of
the transport guard
