  If your Stihl pressure washer doesn't start even when you squeeze the spray gun trigger, several things could be happening. First, ensure the mains plug of the connecting cable or extension cord is properly plugged in. Also, check the circuit-breaker (fuse) or the residual current circuit breaker, and reset it if it has tripped, addressing the cause of the trip. Make sure the socket's fuse rating is correct and that the extension cord has an adequate cross-section and correct length. Finally, the electric motor may be too warm; allow the pressure washer to cool for 5 minutes and clean the nozzle.

  If your Stihl pressure washer switches off during operation, check that the plug of the connecting cord or extension cord hasn't been pulled out of the socket, and plug it back in if it has. Also, the circuit-breaker (fuse) or the residual current circuit breaker may have tripped due to an electrical overload or fault. Find the cause, remedy it, and then re-engage the breaker. Try switching off other appliances connected to the same circuit.
