Check the installation of the perimeter wire
before it is finally secured in place. (Ö 9.)
Adjustments to the wire routing are
generally necessary in the vicinity of
corridors, confined areas or no-go areas.
Deviations can occur
if the technical limits of the robotic
mower are reached, for example with
very long corridors or when routing the
perimeter wire in the vicinity of metal
objects or above metal under the lawn
(e.g. water pipes and power supply
lines),
if the mowing area is structurally altered
for using the robotic mower.
12. Perimeter wire
Before routing the
perimeter wire,
particularly prior to initial
installation, read the
entire section and plan the wire
routing in detail.
Perform initial installation using the
installation assistant. (Ö 9.)
Should you require support, your
STIHL specialist dealer will be
pleased to assist you with
preparation of the mowing area and
installation of the perimeter wire.
