7-54 CHASSIS
REMOVAL
• Remove the rear wheel. (7-10)
• Remove the rear brake. (7-46)
• Remove the rear drive gear case, drive shaft and rear axle
housing. (4-3)
• Remove the rear shock absorbers 1.
• Disconnect the brake breather hose from the swingarm.
• Loosen the swingarm pivot nut 2.
• Remove the swingarm 3.
INSPECTION AND DISASSEMBLY
BUSHING
Inspect the bushings for wear or damage. If any damages are
found, replace them with new ones.
REAR SHOCK ABSORBER
Inspect the rear shock absorber for oil leakage or damage. If any
damages are found, replace it with a new one.
Inspect the rubber bushing for wear or damage, if any damages
are found, replace the rear shock absorber with a new one.
SWINGARM
Inspect the suspension arm for distortion or damage. If any
damage are found, replace the swingarm with a new one.
