Fuse Inspection
Fuses are arranged in the fuse box ○B located in the front compartment ○A (page 17).
Open the front compartment cover and then the fuse box to check the fuses.
If a fuse fails, replace it with a new fuse of proper amperage. Do not replace it with any material other than
the specified fuse. Have the scooter checked by an authorized SYM dealer if the fuse fails repeatedly.
Battery Inspection
This scooter is equipped with a sealed type battery. There is no need to check the electrolyte level or add
distilled water. The battery is located in the battery compartment ○B .
To take out the battery, do as the following instructions.
 Turn the ignition switch off.
 Remove the screw ○A to remove the battery compartment cover ○B .
 First disconnect the (-) terminal cable then the (+) terminal.
 Unscrew the battery band ○C and take out the battery.
 Clean the terminals ○D by using solution of baking soda and water.
 To install the battery, do in the reverse order of the above instructions.
