Using Roll Mode
Roll mode gives a display similar to a strip chart recorder for low-frequency signals. Roll mode lets you see acquired data
points without waiting for the acquisition of a complete waveform record.
Roll mode is enabled when the trigger mode is auto and the horizontal scale i s set to 40 ms/division or slower.
Quick Tips
Roll mode is disabled when you switch to Average acquisition mode, use digital channels, use math waveforms, turn on
abus,switc
h to Normal trigger, or set the horizontal scale to 20 ms per division or faster.
Zoom is disa
bled when you use Roll mode.
Push Run/Stop to halt Roll m ode.

Parallel buses if you are using an MSO2000B series oscilloscope

Using
Buses in Two Steps
To quickly use serial bus triggering:
1. Push B1 or B2 and enter parameters of
the bus to trigger on.
You can separately use B1 and B2 to
view two different buses.
