Connecting Power
You can operate the oscill oscope from a mains supply with line
voltage betw een 100 V
AC
and 240 V
AC
(± 10%) and frequency between
47 Hz and 440 Hz. The oscilloscope is grounded throu gh the power
cord grounding connector. The line fuse is internal and is no t operator
replaceable.
Using Battery Power
You can opera te the oscilloscope continuously for ap proximately three
hours fro m the optional rechargeable TDS3B ATC battery pack. A
triangle icon in the display
shows wh en the b attery is in use, a
power-plug icon
shows when line p ower is connected , and a gauge
icon
shows the ch arge level in the battery. The oscilloscope turns
off automatically when the battery ru ns low; the s creen may turn white
a few minutes before the automatic shutdown.
